Police remind drivers to not leave keys in vehicles while paying for gas

Police are reminding drivers to take their keys with them while paying for gas after two vehicles were stolen last week in Halifax.

On December 27 at approximately 12:05 a.m. and December 30 at approximately 6:55 p.m. police responded to two separate thefts of motor vehicles at the Shell gas station at 2616 Robie Street in Halifax.

Police are reminding drivers to take their keys/key fob with them and lock the doors even if their vehicle will only be unattended for a short period of time.
