Dorothea Drive, Dartmouth – Water Main Repair

Halifax Water crews are responding to a water main break on Dorothea Drive near Spring Avenue.

Water service for customers on Piper Street, Alder Street, and Dorothea Drive will be temporarily shut down so crews can safely repair the pipe. There is no estimated time of service restoration.

There will be stop & go traffic around the work zone. Sidewalks will remain open.

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
