Update:  Halifax Regional Police investigate suspicious death.

At approximately 3:10 pm, Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons complaint at an address in the 5500 block of Morris Street in Halifax.​ Officers located two injued males inside. Police administered first aid prior to the arrival of EHS.​
Both males were transported to hospital. One 61 year old male has died as a result of his injuries. The second 71 year old male suffered serious injuries and is receiving medical treatment.​ ​
Morris Street has been re re-opened to traffic.​ Members from our Forensic Unit as well as Integrated Major Crime remain on scene.​ We are not looking for any suspects at this time. A further update will be provided when available.

At approximately 3:10 p.m. police were called to an address in the 5500 block of Morris Street in relation to a weapons complaint.

Police have closed Morris Street between Queen and Birmingham streets to conduct their investigation.
