Update: Halifax Regional Police investigate suspicious death.
At approximately 3:10 pm, Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons complaint at an address in the 5500 block of Morris Street in Halifax. Officers located two injued males inside. Police administered first aid prior to the arrival of EHS.

Both males were transported to hospital. One 61 year old male has died as a result of his injuries. The second 71 year old male suffered serious injuries and is receiving medical treatment.

Morris Street has been re re-opened to traffic. Members from our Forensic Unit as well as Integrated Major Crime remain on scene. We are not looking for any suspects at this time. A further update will be provided when available.
Police are on the scene of a weapons call in Halifax.
At approximately 3:10 p.m. police were called to an address in the 5500 block of Morris Street in relation to a weapons complaint.
Police have closed Morris Street between Queen and Birmingham streets to conduct their investigation.
