Police investigate a suspicious vehicle fire.
Patrol Investigators are currently investigating a suspicious vehicle fire that occurred just before midnight.
At 11:41 p.m. on November 8th, 2020, officers responded to a report of car exploding and on fire in the 0-100 block of Lynette Road, Halifax. When police arrived, the vehilce was fully engulfed.
Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency responded as well and have extinguished the fire. There were no reported injuries or further damage to other property. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
Elements noted on scene led police to believe the fire is suspicious. The investigation is in it’s initial stages and ongoing.
