Reporting is one of the first steps to take to help prevent animal cruelty

We encourage anyone who suspects or witnesses an act of cruelty to report it, even if they are not sure. How do you do that?

For our Enforcement Officers to be able to investigate, an official report must be made through the proper channels:

▪️ Calling at 1-888-703-7722
▪️ Emailing animals@spcans.ca
▪️ Or filling out a form: www.novascotiaspca.ca/reportcruelty/.

All reports are confidential, so if you see something, say something. You can make a difference in a pet’s life.

Please remember, reports made through comments or messages on social media are not considered official reports.
