Slow down and stay safe!
In just a four-hour period on January 27, Northeast Traffic Services- Cape Breton stopped three vehicles traveling at excessive speeds on Highway 125, near Sydney. All were travelling in a 90 km/h zone:
⚠️ 170 km/h
⚠️ 160 km/h
⚠️ 156 km/h
All drivers received summary offence tickets for stunting:
✅ $2,500 fine
✅ 6 demerit points
✅ Immediate 7-day license suspension
✅ Vehicle impounded
