In photos – The HRFE Stn 16 (Eastern Passage – Cow Bay) VFFs hosted their annual open house today, showcasing community spirit and welcoming all who attended with smiles!
With sea cadets serving up BBQ hotdogs and treats, games and meet and greet with firefighters where you can learn about the trucks and equipment, there was a lot to do.
Facepainting and little gifts were available as part of the party.
Volunteer members from Halifax SAR were also on scene with Patrol 1, showing off samples of gear they use and talking to the public. And recent graduates of Camp Courage were there to talk about the fantastic program and how it affected them for the better!
And no open house would be complete without the fun interaction of K9 Siren and Bishop, and the ever popular Sparky!
And, a very big and special happy birthday to a very special pupper, HRFE therapy dog Bishop, who turns 8 today!
