Residents asked to take survey to help shape future of Windmill Road
The Halifax Regional Municipality is completing a functional planning and design project for Windmill Road and is looking for residents to provide feedback on the current issues, needs, priorities and future opportunities for Windmill Road. The feedback on the Windmill Road Functional Plan project will help inform the vision and design options for the area and can be provided by completing a survey.
The goal is to transform Windmill Road, between Wyse Road and just north of Akerley Boulevard, into a safe, comfortable and enjoyable street for people of all ages and abilities.
The project team is looking for input from residents, property owners, business owners and the general public to help inform the planning and design process. Feedback will help shape the future of Windmill Road and a summary of the results will be posted on the project webpage.
