**** Truro Police Release
On September 2, at approximately 10:20 am, the Truro Police Service received several calls about a vehicle striking a house on East Prince St.
Officers patrolled the area and arrested a 57-year-old man from Debert who fled the scene on foot.
The accused is facing charges of failure or refusal to comply with breath sample demand, property damage, operation of a vehicle while prohibited, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop after an accident.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on September 25, 2024. His name is therefore being withheld pending his court appearance.
