Statement from SailGP – SailGP not returning to Canada next season
Earlier this week, ahead of the final stop of Season 4, SailGP announced the 14 event Season 5 calendar. It is action packed and includes first ever events in Brazil, Switzerland and Germany. Notably, SailGP will not be returning to Canada in Season 5, but discussions are already underway for a Season 6 event.
We recognize that this is disappointing news for our fans, especially given the record breaking success of the inaugural Canada Sail Grand Prix last month in Halifax.
