UPDATE: Man wanted on province-wide arrest warrant has been arrested

Garnett Allan Chappell, 36, of Wentworth, who was wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant was located and safely arrested July 4.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance with the investigation.

Cumberland County District RCMP continue to seek man wanted on province-wide arrest warrants

Cumberland County District RCMP continues to seek information related to the whereabouts of Garnett Allan Chappell who is wanted by police related to two province-wide arrest warrants.

Chappell, age 36 of Wentworth, is wanted for multiple charges stemming from a motor vehicle collision on June 13, 2024. These charges include Pointing a Firearm, Dangerous Operation, Failing to Stop After an Accident Resulting in Bodily Harm, and Failure to Comply with Undertaking. More information is available on the original news release. He is also wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant from May 27, 2024, for failing to appear in court.

Garnett Allan Chappell has a tattoo of a crescent-shaped moon beside his right eye. He is 5-foot-7 and 110 lbs with thinning red hair and blue eyes.

Police have made multiple attempts to locate Chappell related to both warrants, and are requesting assistance from the public.
