June 21st is National Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada

More than 1.8 million Indigenous people of First Nations, Inuit and Metis backgrounds live in Canada in over 600 Indigenous communities, speaking more than 70 distinct languages.

We encourage everyone to recognize a spirit of solidarity and reconciliation. Let’s acknowledge our history and look forward to a future where the voices and contributions of Indigenous peoples are supported and valued everywhere every day.
