RCMP seeks public’s help in investigating a fatal bicycle incident
Annapolis County District RCMP is seeking the public’s help with investigating a fatal incident involving a gas-powered bicycle.
On June 17, Annapolis County District RCMP learned that a 71-year-old man from Annapolis Royal had been taken to Halifax by Lifeflight for treatment of serious injuries.
It was believed he may have fallen from a gas-powered bicycle while riding on Hwy. 201, around 2:00 p.m. the same day.
On June 18, officers learned the man had died in hospital as a result of his injuries.
Annapolis County District RCMP is looking to speak with people who may have witnessed the incident.
Additionally, the gas-powered bicycle has not been recovered.
