In photos – An emotional day as family and friends gather for the funeral of HRFE Capt. Billy Marr, who passed from his hard fought battle against cancer.
With a thunderous march from the pipes and drums and honour guard, complete with police escorts, his service was held in Woodlawn with a large overflow in Burnside livestreaming the service.
Billy was truly a respected member in the fire service and his community, including his involvement with youth hockey in the area.
He was rarely seen without a smile and will truly be missed.
