This coming Saturday, the 13th of April Hope for Wildlife will be joining author Connie Dennis to talk about her book Pickles the Osprey! Proceeds from the book sales are being donated to us to help local wildlife – including Osprey, the official provincial bird of Nova Scotia!
We’ll be at the Woodlawn Library in Dartmouth from 2 to 3PM!
Connie is a local author from Dartmouth, and she’s written a fun-filled children’s book about beloved osprey, Pickles and his family that who been nesting at Russell Lake for years. Pictures in the book were taken by her husband Don!
Come and learn lot’s of interesting facts about these amazing birds.
