Northwood is taking a preventative approach to protect thier residents and staff to lessen the spread of COVID 19 and other respiratory infections.

Masking will be required for all:

Visitors are required to keep mask on unless they alone in a room with a loved one.
If resident has roommate – visitors need to remain masked.

Cross site movement
Only essential staff that need to cross sites as part of their role should be visiting other sites.
Utilize Teams’ meetings as much as possible to prevent gatherings.

Rapid test kits pick up area has change for Halifax site and will now be available to pick up at the facility Supervisor office.

Good Hand hygiene, properly wearing a mask (over mouth and nose) will help prevent the spread. Do not come to work sick- make sure you are passively screening for symptoms and using rapid tests.

• Fever (chills or sweats)

• Headache
