Road Closure – Archibald Avenue and Aikens Avenue
Location: Archibald Avenue and Aikens Ave
Date: Thursday, September 7 to Monday, October 16
Time: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays only
Work details: This closure is to facilitate watermain renewal.
Traffic impact: Archibald Avenue, from Romans Avenue to Aikens Avenue and Aikens Avenue from, Romans Avenue to Archibald Avenue will be closed while work is underway. A signed detour route will be in place. Local street access will be maintained, and the sidewalks will remain open. Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use alternative routes whenever possible

Traffic Delay – Romans Avenue
Location: Romans Avenue, from Mumford to Bayers roads
Date: Thursday, September 7 to Monday, October 16
Time: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (weekdays only)
Work details: This work includes asphalt repair and curb renewal in support of the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic impact: Stop-and-go traffic will be in place while work is underway. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Portland Street, Carver Street and Eisener Boulevard intersection
Location: Portland Street, Carver Street and Eisener Boulevard intersection
Date: Monday, September 4
Time: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Work details: Traffic delays will be in place to facilitate traffic signal repairs, which supports the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic impact: The traffic signals at the intersection will be flashing red while work is underway. Motorists are reminded that red flashing is a four-way stop. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Traffic Delay – Thistle Street
Location: Thistle Street, from Wyse to Victoria roads
Date: Tuesday, September 5 and Wednesday, September 6
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day
Work details: This work includes asphalt repair, in support of the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic impact: Lane drops, with occasional stop-and-go traffic will be in place while work is underway. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Date: Tuesday, September 5 to Monday, October 30
Time: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily (weekdays only)
Work details: This work is for pavement maintenance, which supports the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic impact: Briarwood Crescent will be closed while work is underway. Local street access will be maintained. Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Trunk 3, from Evelyn Richardson Memorial Elementary School to 350 metres west of Pas Lane, will have alternating lane closures for roadwork until November 30.

Route 308, from Bill White Road easterly for about 2.9 kilometres, will have alternating lane closures for paving until September 30.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Cloverville Road, Cloverville
Cloverville Road, 150 metres south of Walsh Post Road, is closed for a culvert replacement until Friday, September 8.
Detour signs are in place.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Salt Springs Brook Bridge, Trunk 7
Salt Springs Brook Bridge on Trunk 7, about four kilometres south of the Town of Antigonish, is reduced to one lane until further notice for repairs.
Temporary traffic signals are in place.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Trunk 4, Antigonish
Trunk 4 between James and Church streets is closed, except to local traffic, until September 16 for construction of a roundabout.
Detour signs are in place.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 105, North Sydney
The intersection of Highway 105 and Tobin Road is reduced to one lane for roadwork until September 29.
Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Donaldson Bridge, French River
Donaldson Bridge on Lake Road, about three kilometres west of Tatamagouche, is closed until further notice.
The detours are on Trout Brook Road and Cooper Road.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Old Truro Road, Tatamagouche
Old Truro Road, from Kennedy Hill intersection to the Cross Road in North River, is closed until further notice due to a large culvert failure.
A detour is in place.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Salmon River Bridge, Truro
Salmon River Bridge, on Highway 102 between exits 14 and 14A, is reduced to one lane northbound until October for work on the bridge decking.
Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Slade Road, Tatamagouche
Slade Road is closed between Lake Road and West Tatamagouche Road until further notice because of a bridge closure.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Fountain Road, South Middleboro
Fountain Road, between Hunter Road and Simmonds Road, is closed for removal and replacement of the Howard Bridge until October 31.
Traffic will be detoured from Fountain Road via Simmonds Road and Keers Mill Road.
Vehicles more than four metres wide need to plan an alternate route because of the width of structures on the detour route.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 16, Lincolnville
Trunk 16, from 0.2 kilometres north of the Old Monastery Road northerly to 1.4 kilometres north of the Lincolnville Loop, has alternating lane closures for paving and brush cutting until October 31.
Traffic control will be on-site. Work takes place weekdays from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101, Windsor
The eastbound off-ramp at Exit 6, Highway 101, is closed for the construction of a new interchange to downtown Windsor.
A detour is available via Exit 5A. The off-ramp is closed until October.

HANTS COUNTY: Hydes Bridge, Lantz
Hydes Bridge on Highway 277 is closed until further notice.
A detour is in place via Dutch Settlement Road, Elmsdale Road and Trunk 2. Signs are in place.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Indian Path Bridge, Bayport
Indian Path Bridge, Route 332, is closed for replacement until further notice.
A detour is in place.

PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104 and Highway 106, Alma
Highway 104 at Exit 22, to Exit 2 on Highway 106, is reduced to one lane for paving until September 22.
Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

RICHMOND COUNTY: Highway 104, Port Hawkesbury
Highway 104, at St. Peters Railway overpass, is reduced to one lane for repairs until September 30.
Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

RICHMOND COUNTY: Port Royal Bridge, Isle Madame
Port Royal Bridge on Port Royal Road is closed until further notice. A detour is in place on MacEachern Road.

West Bay Road, from Nature Dream Boulevard, easterly for 3.8 kilometres, is reduced to one lane for roadwork until September 30.
Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Highway 105, South Haven
Highway 105, from 3.2 kilometres west of Trunk 30, easterly to 600 metres east of Route 312, is reduced to one lane for roadwork until September 29.
