Colchester County District RCMP charges a driver with stunting
Colchester County District RCMP has charged a man with stunting on Hwy. 4 in Wentworth.
On July 25, 2023, at approximately 3:35 p.m., a member of Colchester County District RCMP was on patrol on Hwy. 4 in Wentworth when they observed a Mazda CX30 travelling at a high rate of speed. The RCMP officer observed on radar that the CX30 was travelling at 182 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. A traffic stop was completed on the vehicle and the driver, a 23-year-old New Brunswick man, was charged with stunting.
Stunting in Nova Scotia carries a fine of $2,422.50 for first time offenders and results in an immediate 7-day driver’s license suspension.
