Fire and potential ammonia leak
UPDATE: Evacuation order for area surrounding Farmers Dairy Lane is now rescinded, but residents will be advised that a future evacuation may occur with 30 minutes notice given.
Due to a wildfire and potential ammonia leak, there is a mandatory evacuation ordered for the following streets in Bedford:
Olive St, Bernard St, Estelle St, Lewis St, Famers Dairy, Giles, Bluewater Rd, Topsail, Command, Gary Martin, Lasalle, Castlestone, and Hammonds Plains Rd from intersection of Giles to intersection of Larry Uteck Dr.
Comfort centre will be opened at the Lions Club at Lebrun Recreation Centre, 36 Holland Ave, Bedford.

Viscount run starting at intersection of Spyglass up to and including Cloverleaf and Summerwood Lane. Further alert will be sent if we need evacuation ordered. Please ensure you prepare your essentials and pets as required.
