Day and Night Firing Exercises at Bedford Rifle Range
Residents of the Halifax Regional Municipality, especially in the vicinity of the Bedford Rifle Range, are to be advised that there will be day and night firing exercises using live ammunition on Saturday, March 11 from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 12 from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
These exercises are conducted to ensure that personnel are familiar with proper weapons handling during day and night time operations. Members of the public transiting in the vicinity of the Bedford Rifle Range are to exercise caution and keep clear of the property. Safety teams will monitor and control all activities. Any noise or inconvenience to residents is regretted.
