Ellie is from Wolfville, Nova Scotia and graduated from Camp Courage class of 2017. This is what she has to say about Camp Courage
“Camp courage is such a spectacular program, I benefited hugely from all of the hands-on experience (especially in the paramedic days) that we participated in. They really helped me to understand what the profession(s) involved and continued to inspire me to pursue a career in medicine!
The program also encouraged me to organize the Harvest Dinner. An event that raised $10,000 towards sponsoring a refugee family in our community. This event was incredible and helped to spread awareness of the refugee crisis to people in my community.
Camp courage was such a wonderful experience all around, and I believe that it will continue to inspire young women to work towards achieving their goals and improving their communities.

Mentors were all so supportive and fun. I made lasting friendships. ”
