Antigonish District RCMP investigating motor vehicle collision
Antigonish District RCMP is investigating a single motor vehicle collision that occurred yesterday in Malignant Cove, Antigonish County.
On July 23 just after 3 p.m., Antigonish District RCMP responded to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle on Hwy 245 in Malignant Cove. RCMP officers learned that a motorcycle had been travelling on Hwy 245 when it left the roadway and came to rest in a ditch.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 52-year-old Truro man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by LifeFlight.
The investigation is ongoing.
Hwy. 245 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
