Update: Police investigating suspicious circumstances
The man who police were looking to speak with in relation to the suspicious circumstances that occurred on November 30 in Dartmouth has been identified. At this time, charges are not anticipated.
Police thank members of the public and the media for their assistance with this investigation.
Police investigating suspicious circumstances
Halifax Regional Police are investigating a suspicious circumstance call that occurred in Dartmouth yesterday.
On November 30 at approximately 8 a.m. a man pulled up beside a 16-year-old youth who was walking on Sea King Drive in Dartmouth. The man asked the youth if they wanted a drive to the mall. The youth did the right thing and said no and walked away. The man then drove away. The youth later told a trusted adult who reported the incident to police.
The man is described as white, in his 40’s with a stocky build and wearing a green hoodie, a bright traffic jacket and jeans. The vehicle he was driving is described as a white Mazda 2 with a black cargo case on the roof.
Police are looking to speak with the man or anyone who may have information in relation to the incident or video of the area.
