Break and enter – Spring Street area
On September 15th, 2021, the Amherst Police Department received a report of a break and enter that occurred at a Spring Street area residence. An aggravating factor in this break and enter was that a family was sleeping inside the residence. It appears that entry was made in the early morning hours of the 15th.
Collectable coins were stolen in the incident. Amherst Police are asking the public to notify our office if they have any instances of unique coins circulating in the town after this incident.
