Update to potential exposure to COVID-19 at Fit4Less on Dresden Row
Nova Scotia Health Public Health is advising of an update to a public exposure notice originally shared on Sunday, June 20, 2021.

UPDATE: Fit4Less Exposure
Anyone who visited the weight area of Fit4Less (1535 Dresden Row, Halifax) on June 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. should self-isolate immediately and visit covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/ to book a COVID-19 test, regardless of whether or not they have COVID-19 symptoms. You can also call 811 if you don’t have online access, or if you have other symptoms that concern you. You must continue self-isolating for 14 days, whether or not you have symptoms, even with a negative test result. You are asked to get retested 6-8 days and 12-14 days after this exposure. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, June 30.
**Please note, if you have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before the exposure date, you are not required to self-isolate as long as you are not experiencing any symptoms of the virus. You are still asked to get tested once and should monitor for symptoms up to 14 days after the exposure date. If symptoms develop you should get tested again.

Nova Scotians now also have the option to access their results online at c19results.nshealth.ca/. To be eligible to receive results online, by email or by auto call, you need to bring a provincial health card or student ID with you to your testing appointment. It can take up to 72 hours to receive or access test results. It is not unusual for two or more family members to be tested at the same time and receive results at different times.
Do not go directly to a COVID-19 assessment centre without being directed to do so. Please book an appointment online or call 811 and do not go to a pop-up rapid testing location.
Currently, anyone who traveled outside of Nova Scotia is expected to self-isolate alone for 14 days after arriving. If a person returning from non-essential travel outside of Nova Scotia is unable to isolate alone, then everyone in the home where they are isolating will have to self-isolate as well.
When Nova Scotia Health Public Health makes a public notification it is not in any way a reflection on the behaviour or activities of those named in the notification.
