Police charge 13 drivers for speeding violations
Halifax Regional Police charged 13 drivers with speeding in Halifax yesterday.
The HRP Traffic Unit was monitoring traffic on the 102 Highway in Halifax yesterday for speeding violations. Over a period of a couple of hours, officers issued 13 summary offence tickets for speeding and an additional 11 tickets for other offences including no insurance and expired plates.
In a continued effort to address traffic safety issues and educate citizens on the rules of the road, our officers focus on speed enforcement. We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe.
