Helping the homeless – With homeless tents popping up in more areas, Nadya and Red teamed up with Marco to visit three camp areas in Dartmouth providing supplies to those in need.
Supplies such as warm clothes, a new tent, blankets and feminine products to name a few, they were happily met by many of the occupants.
During these visits, another group of volunteers were at a camp building elevated floors for many of the tents to keep them off the cold ground and provide some flooding protection as heavy rain is expected in the area.
One camp is also concerned about a lack of proper garbage disposal and bathrooms for the residents.
They would like to see a dumpster and portapotties in their area.
