Police charge three people in relation to four break and enters
Police have charged three people in relation to four break and enters that occurred this weekend in Halifax.
On November 4 at approximately 11 p.m. officers responded to a break and enter in progress at Fresh Prints Clothing Store located at 2411 Agricola Street. The suspects broke into the store, stole a quantity of merchandise and fled the area in a vehicle.
Through the course of the investigation, officers determined that the vehicle had been stolen from a residence on Charles Street earlier that evening. The residence was also broken into and property was stolen from the home.
On November 5 at approximately 12:50 a.m. officers responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence in the 6200 block of North Street. A man broke into the home and threatened the resident when they confronted him. The man fled the residence with stolen property.
On November 5 at approximately 3 a.m. police responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at Tarek’s Café located at 3045 Robie Street. The suspect broke into the business, stole property and fled the area.
A short time later, officers located the vehicle stolen from Charles Street in a parking lot in the 5300 block of Glebe Street. Officers found property stolen from the break and enters inside the vehicle and arrested two women and a man at the scene without incident.
Glen William Paulette, 31, was scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court yesterday to face charges of:
- Theft of a motor vehicle
- Break and enter (x4)
- Breach of probation (x4)
- Breach of a court order
Jessica Marie Crawford, 31, was scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court yesterday to face charges of:
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Breach of a court order
Dawn Charmaine Beals, 53, was scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court yesterday to face a charge of:
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
