Good stuff. A message from East River Valley fire department

“As many of you can well imagine our day here in East River Valley started out pretty bad. Myself my emotions were a mix of anger, disappointment and disbelief. Throughout the day I personally recieved hundreds of messages from people all over the province offering to help us. I can’t even begin to express how proud I am to be a part of this community and this province. The outpouring of support was honestly overwhelming. It was actually quite humbling.

I am so happy to let everyone know that the generosity of our Pictou County and the entire province has once again shone through. We have been donated a set of tires and rims, money to buy lock nuts and were even donated a security camera…all I can say from myself and on behalf of the members here is thank you all..everyone who has offered help…thank you, you’ve made me a believer in community spirit again”

(Police) Update via RCMP – Between 9:45 p.m. on August 24 and 9:00 a.m. on August 25, 2021, someone stole tires off of a local volunteer fire

** Release
